Lands End Bait & Tackle (“we,” “us”) runs this website for our shop in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. We keep things simple and only collect what we need to run the site and serve our customers. This page explains what that means.

What we collect

• Catch photos you submit. If you use our “Share Your Catch” form, we receive the photo and any name, species, or caption you choose to include. Submitting is voluntary, and by doing so you give us permission to feature your photo on this site and our social media.
• Messages you send us. If you call or email, we’ll have whatever contact info and details you share.
• Basic technical info. Like most websites, our host keeps standard logs (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure. We use a login cookie only for our own staff dashboard — no advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To operate the site, show approved catches on the Catch Wall, respond to your messages, and protect the site from abuse. That’s it — we don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.

Third parties

We rely on a few service providers to run the site: our web host and database, and NOAA for public tide data. Our location section embeds a Google Map, and we link out to our TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook — those services have their own privacy policies when you interact with them.

Want your submitted photo taken down, or have a question about your information? Just email us at [email protected]and we’ll take care of it.

Children

This site is meant for a general audience and isn’t directed at children under 13.
